Luke 6:38 and Acts 20:32-35
Jesus said,
“…give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Jesus said they would pour into your lap a good measure — pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
Paul said we work and give to help others, not expecting a return.
Kingdom extravagance is not waste.
It is love that overflows because God first overflowed toward us.
Think
We can give only what feels safe. Or…we can act in faith:
With time
Talent
Resources
…and trust God with the overflow
He may bless us back in the same way we gave.
He may bless us in a completely different way.
Either way, we will be blessed.
You are not emptying yourself.
You are conducting His will.
Today’s Songs

Show me where I am lacking in faith, trust, and obedience.
Give me the boldness and wisdom to follow through in helping and giving where You want, and may You be glorified in it.
